I have a 2012 Hyundai Sante Fe limited with 35,000 and it has started making a whining sound when started and continues while running. Can you give me some idea of what that might be. Thank you

A lot of the time you hear "Whining" from the alternator if the battery has a bad cell it draws a high current from the alternator. It could be lots of things but if you can turn your headlights on/off you may hear the noise change of ever diminish
