back doors to silverado 2003 2500 will not open no matter what any one know what to do besides catching it on fire

Probably the rod fell off that goes to the door handle. Since the door is closed, it will be impossible to remove the door panel. You may have to just bite the bullet and cut the door panel in half. Remove the upper half and see if you can access the door latch and rods. If it is the mechanism itself, as in the door latch that has failed, you will have to figure out how to get the mechanism to unlock. I would take a trip to a salvage yard and see if there is one that is exposed so you can check it out and play around with it. If not, you will have to bring it to a dealer and they most likely will have to do the same thing.

Do you have child door locks? My GMC SUV has them and from time to time I accidentally hit them and the people in the back whine. Fuses good?
