Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I installed new head gaskets in my Chevy
1500  350 engine  torque to spec did
everything right I thought but as I went to
start it it sound like something is really tight
just doesn't sound like everything is
moving smoothly and it doesn't hit and run
at all any ideas what may have happened
maybe an idea how to trouble shoot this

1 Answer

Make sure the rockers are lined up correctly on the valves. If valves cannot open when they should the engine may not turn over.
