Chevy dies when I put it in drive

Asked by Rachelle Jul 25, 2016 at 06:51 PM about the Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 96 1500 Chevy truck dies quick when I
try to put it into drive and push on the gas. It
will start again and go in reverse. It took
three times starting it and putting it in drive
to get it in my driveway. At least it happen at
home before I went anywhere. Could this be
the fuel pump?
