Why do my blinkers stop blinking

Asked by Brojo2787 Apr 20, 2012 at 02:09 PM about the Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So the blinkers on the car at times work but will stop and just stay on.  Is there something that i have to replace or maybe a fuse is not working properly?

its probly ur signal relay looks like a one by one square with three to four prongs on it, it would be located in your fuse box either under the dash in the driver side of the dash behind a cover or under your hood near your battery.

Idk why but my rear blinkers love to eat through bulbs, try looking at them.

depends on what year the cavalier is the newer ones have a 10- 20$ flasher depending on where you get it bc its not a typical one. (its got special electronic controls and a circuit board) its by the steering column near ur feet
