How do I get my 2005 ascender out of 4wheel ? I turn the dial to Front wheel, but the 4 light stays on.

I turn the dial to front wheel drive , but the light stays on in 4 wheel. The
manual is no help.

Are you in Neutral and going under 5mph while trying to switch? If not, try what G A said, or rock the whole vehicle back and forth.
