Dear paulh1969--  That's low mileage for a 9-year-old car and I shouldn't think that it would be expensive to maintain.  The Volvos are fairly reliable cars.  How much are you paying for it?  Why not have it looked at by a reputable mechanic before you pull the trigger.  Good luck from Bovan.

Be sure to verify service history from the previous owner(s).  Volvos will run forever if the scheduled maintenance
is followed and performed by Volvo certified technicians.
