Interchangeable Strut/Shock

Asked by GuruNZQW7 Oct 11, 2019 at 09:52 PM about the Pontiac Bonneville

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We allowed someone to borrow our 2001
Pontiac Bonneville. Although she said she
didn't wreck it (or run off the road) ....when I
drove to work the next morning the ball
bearings fell out.
So now we have fixed a broken axel, and
warped bubbled tires,

I still have to replace a front passenger side
Strut and a rear passenger side air shock.

The pull apart has 2003 Pontiac Bonneville..
and I'm wondering if I can use those to
replace my broken ones on the 2001.

You really can't blame the person who drove your car. This type of problem takes a lot of miles an neglect to happen. Look up the part numbers for each car and see if they are the same.
