I HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE CAR CUTTING OFF WHEN IT IS REALLY HOT OUTSIDE. THE CAR WIIL NOT GO UP IN TEMP BUT WILL CUT OFF. I HAVE CHANGED THE WATER PUMP, THERMOSTATE,FULEFILTER, FLUSHED RADIATOR,CHANGED OIL ,OILFILTER,AIR FILTER, WHAT TO DO NEXT PLEASE HELP

Some times when you have a lot of problems your computer in you car logs all that has happened and sometimes they need to be cleared cause they get so much info on them they make the vehicle do weird things, like it shutting off

i am having the same problem with my '94 taurus. I'll let you know if I find anything that works. I did see a post on about.com about this problem, and gave it to my mechanics. They are looking at it today (5/6/08) in the shop.
