I have no signal on my Am radio in my 2009 ford escape, any help

The radio in my 2009 Ford Escape work only in FM/CD mode, the AM has no
signal, I use AM for sports stations. Any help?

SOME ARE SO OUT OF ADJUSTMENT THEY HARDLY WORK AT ALL..IF ITS NOT INTERNAL THEN REMOVE THE COAX PLUG CLEAN AN D SPREAD THE SWEELING PRONG AND PLUG IT BACK IN....NEXT REMOVE THE ANTENNA BASE AND MAKE SURE IT HAS A GOOD BODY GROUND... THEY MAKE BETTER ANTENNAS AND EVEN LITTLE AMPS FOR THEM THAT ARE CHEAP AND EASY TO INSTALL..PROBLEM IS I DONT KNOW IF YOUE AM CIRCUIT IS OK AND/OR JUST WEAK..

Thanks for the info, it sounds like I have to pull the radio out and have it checked or should I have a dealer look at it, I'm just afraid of the cost involved with that choice.
