what could it mean when my van just shuts down while i am moving? Gas pumps works
I was traveling around 70 mph on a interstate and the engine just shut down. gas pump works. it turns over but won't start. help

it is a 1992 and has a 6 cylinder. I need help quick husband walking around the van with a hammer
Could be a lot of things. 1) Fuel pump. 2) Distributor cap or components inside of it. Check and see if it getting gas. If it is then check for spark. Let us know.

could be the ignition module.very commun in those old fords.
That could be as simple as a broken distributor shaft to a broken timing chain.
