If you can put the transfer case in neutral it should be OK. Read your owners manual.

I have a 04 Tacoma 4x4 auto. the transfer case has a neutral gear. but the manual said NOT to flat tow at all . has any one got a reason why from Toyota. like most I think if transfer is in neutral should be towable just like my chevy silverdo was. any info or experience towing Tacoma. Virgil
