Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2nd row seat Front hooks will not release

I have a 2004 and I've run into this issue. So, there's that woven vinyl strap on the back of the seat that has to be pulled up and the seat has to be folded down. I got mine to release by pushing the lever to fold down the back of the seat while pulling and holding that strap up and when the back hooks release keep the strap tight and fold the seat up and forward and finally mine released. It can be very frustrating though.
