Can I swap my bad 1993 Toyota pickup engine for my good 1989 Toyota pickup engine? Are they compatible?

I have a 1993 Toyota pickup that won't run due to a bad engine. I also have a
1989 Toyota pickup that won't run but has a good engine. I would like to
swap the engines. But would like to know if they are compatible.
