How do you tell if the timming belt is broken in a 1997 toyta camry ?

It truns over and is getting the plugs are getting fire.

If your car has a distributor cap, take off the cover and have someone give the key a quick turn. If the rotor does not turn inside the cap, then your timing belt is broken.........
