03 Jag X type trans problems

Asked by mauimike Feb 02, 2014 at 12:12 AM about the Jaguar X-TYPE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

no reverse

1 Answer

I'd take a look at the linkage...and the transmission mounts for change in geometry...perhaps because the parking brake was not set, but depended on the torque-ability of the transmission mounts to hold on~ they separate and are made from cheap butyl rubber instead of neoprene~ cut ye corners where ye can~
