A service manual would be helpful to determine the correct resistance reading in ohms. The sending unit would be inside the tank along with the fuel pump. Dropping the tank would likely be required unless there is access to the top of the tank while it is mounted in the vehicle.

From one Bob to another Bob, thank you. I have a Sidekick service manual I bought from suzuki. I will check it more for ohms readings.I also have a Haynes Manuel for backup.Thanks again.
