2017 Jaguar XE review by George Kennedy

Asked by Steve May 08, 2016 at 10:31 AM about the Jaguar XE

Question type: General

Hi,
I noticed a review by George Kennedy for the new
XE, however he stated the 25t (2 liter gas) was
going to be available in both rear and all.  This
doesn't seem to be the case on Jag's website, they
only list rear.  Please tell me you know some inside
info, as it doesn't make sense not to spec a model
like that when the entire competition has one.
Thanks
Steve

No, AWD drive at this point. "All of which makes the 2017 Jaguar XE an anomaly and a heaven-sent savior. We’ve just taken our first drive in Britain’s first car in this segment since the Ford Mondeo–based X-type, and it’s so good that we can’t think of a reason to mention that Grim, four-wheeled disappointment again for the rest of this story."

I completely agree the new vision of Jaguars it's not only long overdue but is something to make them visible in the market. And yes, the x-type should be stricken from any record. However I am still not understanding if the XE is going to be the volume car, how is it going to complete with A4, 328, C300, and Q50 all offering awd on every model.
