Try Advance Auto Parts, they have a Performance Parts catalog that should have everything you need. Also, JC Whitney online or Pep Boys might have some parts you could use to go faster.

wow, pep boys? That guy obviously owns an RX8. This car wont gain much of anything without forced induction or nitrous. Your best bet for the track would be a lightweight flywheel and a midpipe then coilovers. None of which can be bought at advance auto parts. But can be ordered for a total of a little over $2000 online on performance sites. Thats coming from an RX8 owner that actually goes to the track.

Wow, this guy really knows his performance parts, he shops at pep boys, spinning hub caps anyone. Dude just go online to Mazda RX-8 specific performance websites, google it. I agree that forced induction is the way to go with the RX-8.

you really don't need to do much, put on some type of turbo (with an innercooler) and then you should be kicking ass, if you are a good driver then you should already be walking away form the german cars with out a problem.

Go to Racing Beat. They know their Rotaries well, and they own the fastest rotaries in the world. My FC has a load of parts from them, enough power for this car to hit 11 seconds quarter mile with weight at 3500 pounds and factory tires.

Racing Beat is custom for Mazda vehicles. I haven't purchased anything from they but I hear they offer decent exhaust for a gain of 4-7 HP,.. The guy above was right about the flywheel. Def must. Would reccomend the first part you add. Mazdaspeed is perfectly fine unless you're going for an aftermarket-type style...but MS has warranty too. I think Rosenthal (Sp?) Mazda (online - google it.) offers decent discounts on their mazdaspeed parts. AEM is the most popular cold air intake.. Better tires, look around for dif types. Thats all I can think of at the top of my head. Hope it helps.

COBB AccessPort from MazdaManiac is a good aftermarket ECU that will increase your power AND mileage (Mazda tuned the Renesis to run AFR's of around 11.2, for emissions reasons... you can run an AFR around 14, pass emmissions, get more power, and get better mileage.) Mazsport is a good source, as well, if you're going to go FI. Black Halo Racing has a lot of good quality aftermarket parts. Check out rx8club.com, there's a good deal of RX-8 tuners there.

listen to the last guys the first guys probably run dodge neons haha def have to not spare a dollar for adding hp to a rx8 they are expensive as is to fix. you dont want to spend money on a shitty part and then have to spend more money to fix what is wrong with it. rotary upgrades can be expensive you should of known that before you bought the car
