Car won't turn over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car ran fine the day before. Went to use it today
and the lights turn on in the center but car won't
turn over. Oil was changed recently. Any ideas???

Rotate engine by hand to make sure engine us not locked up. If it rotates, check battery voltage, sould be minimum 12.4vdc. If battery is good, check battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight. If everything checks out ok, check voltage at the starter solenoid signal terminal when you try to start ut. If you have voltage when you try to start it, replace starter

New battery in 2003 pt crusier everything turns on but wont start what can i do to try to get it to start

3 weeks a go was out of town and my head light in the front just went out the last week my starter went out replaced it with a new new one went to autozone today to get a real light for the back was comeing home and my car was acting like it wanted to stop now my car wont crank and is makeing a beeping noise and the key is out of the ignition
