Want to know others' thoughts on purchasing a Pro Cee'd as a first car considering extas (insurance etc.)

Hi Chris, bought my Pro Ceed 3 1.6 petrol about a year ago, as a first car you wouldn't really want to scrape curbs, back into things, clip the wing mirrors. But it definately isn't quick if you keep the revs low and is a very safe car. The mpg is a bit on the low side and it's a bit thirstier than I had thought. The insurance is relatively low, the 1.4 engine spec would be better. I went for the 3 for the climate control, so much easier to set a temperature than to turn it up and down.
