You could get a super nice E30 or E36 for 6K. You could also probably find someone who just wants to lose an E46 in really good shape for 6K but that car is going to be a little harder to find, at least in my market. Although, just finding E30s & E36s that aren't totally ragged out is getting harder and harder.
