Do I need a new master cylinder or a porportionaing valve?

Asked by roaminz Jul 20, 2016 at 04:50 PM about the Cadillac Eldorado

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My master cylinder on 1976 Eldorado occasionally drips, the brake pedal is soft and the brake light comes on once in a while.  If I push hard on the brake pedal the light will go off.
