If you have a Northstar engine it's probably a blown head gasket and not worth fixing. Have the coolant tested for combustion gases. If you have combustion gases in the coolant you have a blown head gasket. Hope that helps! Jim

    My 2000 deville base is overheating. When it is overheating I turn the heater on full blast. The air coming from the vents is cold, almost like I have the ac on. What could cause this?
