What signifies the Hurst qualifiaction for a 442?  It it the engine size or the body style?  What year did this begin?

If i recall it right,442 means:4barrel-4speed and 2-exhaust pypes. 442 was Old's high perf model,Hurst had nothing to do with 442 model.Every Hurst was based on 442 model. 442 started 64-65,but top of the line,king of the hill was 69-71 models with their 455 engines.Check google for more info on these monsters;)
