Sounds like it is time to take it to the Lincoln dealership as there is an issue with something in the headlight electronics.

My 2015 MKS had this problem two months in, the computer module for the adaptive headlamps had to be replaced. The part is difficult to obtain. Ford had to pull one from the factory after waiting two weeks plus in my case.

I had this same problem in my 2011 Mks. It started off passenger side headlight then went to the driver side at which both were doing it. I took it to the dealer and I replaced both headlights. Problem solved.

Replace both headlights? My 2014 MKZ Adaptive Headlight Assemblys are over a grand each....without labor or computer recalibration or other parts. I read there is a way to turn off the "adaptive" aspect, as I have a broken lens passenger side...which also does not work except the side marker light. I understand at this point that I need to buy the entire assembly and dang near need to take out a loan. The entire bumper skin has to come down as the lights are mounted to it and unreachable otherwise. That is why I find the light assembly on ebay and such for 3-4 hundred used, "with broken bottom tabs", as someone removed the two top screws and didn't want to take the entire bumper skin off. I know these things because I downloaded a manual of over 29,000 pages on my car! The space shuttle probably has less.
