BBY motor piston timing might be out how do i set it right?

i have a 2003 polo 1.4 bby motor did the oil pump and now my car wont start
even when i jump it it pulls the other cars battery dead it does sound like there
is compression.in the motor could it only be piston timing that is out i need
help

This is a very confusing question the way it is ask, it simply does not make since. But sounds like a short from the part I could understand.
