Why is it that when I try to start my van it don't start, I look at the spark plugs and they were soaked with gas??

today i drove to gas station left van running while i put gas.After i finished putting gas i got ready to take off and van jus died.Van cranks but will not start.Could it be fuel filter? I know its not fuel pump...because i hear it hum when i turn ignition.Could it be spark plugs and wires?Or distributor modulator? I know its sumthing simple....please help 5 Answers
