1970 gas tank conversion

I recently purchased a new fuel tank for my car.  However, i inadvertently purchased one without the california emissions set up.  How do I go about venting this tank.  I no longer have the smog stuff on the car, so I don't think I really need the emissions tank.

You can get the Federal vent system from one of the Mopar suppliers, ex. Herb's Mopar parts, Year One, etc.
