Wont crank or start when turn key.

It will start if I run a jump wire from the starter relay to the positive post on battery.

Note the diagram. if you unplug starter relay, use jumper wire between terminal cavities 30 and 87, the starter motor should crank the engine, even w/o key. Terminal 30 is hot all the time. You can see ignition A fuse and mega fuse, in diagram, check them both, also check for voltage at the fuses, use a test light. The relay has two sides, the switch and control side. The control side, left side in diagram, needs voltage and ground in order to energize. That crank fuse goes hot with key in the crank position, wired through the clutch or neutral switch, depending on the transmission, then to control side of relay, the ground for control side is a chassis ground. Any testing make sure transmission is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. good luck
