Toyota Prius Forum : “How much fuel is left in the 2008 Prius when there is 1 bar remaining?”

about a gallon (a bit less....3/4 maybe?)
no need to panic until the last bar starts flashing

no you have about 5 galons at this point,plus their is a gallon in rserve.

I drive an 07 prius and the tank is 11.2 gallons roughly according to the owners manual. There is a one gallon reserve and if the fuel gage has 10 bars I highly doubt there are 5 gallons left on the last bar. There is about 1 gallon left... according to the math.
