Hey, my interior lights won't shut off when I close the doors.

check the door ajar switches for function.

I appreciate that, but all seem to be functioning correctly, there are no bent one's, it just stays on, and this must have been an issue the previous owner didn't want to fix, because the rear lights were disconnected in the trunk....

It's a plunge type switch, so they may look decent but still have a bad contact inside, the only way to know for sure is to test them with a meter, looking for continuity or shorts/opens. Something may also be grounding out causing the lights to stay on.
