atf to motor on 87 crown vic 302ci

is the atf line hooked to or around the throttle body from the trans.
for overdrive to kick in.  thanks darce.  5.0L/302ci with overdrive

There should be a line from the transmission to the throttle body blade where the throttle cable hooks up. It's to control the automatic trans pressure. Most times the plastic grommet ages and cracks, then falls out. Purchase a new grommet in the Help section of the auto part store. It will come in a box of other sized grommets
