Cigarette, in windshield vent. Is this a potential fire risk?

Modern cigs self extinguish , It'll smell but I don't think it'll ignite , If it's a menthol it might smell good
It's an "02 Impala, the cig probably adds value. But depending on where the butt is, you might notice an area of the windshield not defogging when you use the defogger/defroster. If menthol, at least now you won't have to use that Christmas tree air freshener....,. That was fun, wasn't it?
Nope, you're good. The car would have already burned down by now if anything was going to happen. To put this in perspective, the defroster grille of my '03 S10 Pick Up broke apart and a few pieces fell down into the defroster duct. It's fine and those pieces are much larger than a cigarette butt! Hope that helps! Jim
