I have a manual 96 cavalier. It was working fine until I got to the stop light. I tried going on first gear but I am unable to. I turned the car off, tested it by shifting gears, and it worked just fine. Turned the car on and it is locked from 1st gear, all gears.. Can anybody tell me what I must do! PLEASE 1 Answer

I have a 2003 chevy cavalier and the transmission was fine when I went to store,came out and it would not go,guy who fixed it said the clip on the shift cable broke and put a new clip on,does this sound wright?I don't see a clip,or clamp that holds shift cable in place,I know they can break but that is cable not a clip,or clamp,any help 6 Answers

I am the owner of a 1996 Chevy cavalier and have replaced thye following parts; fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition module, and crank sensor and I am still having problems with it cutting off after driving about 20-30 minutes. There was no clicking or winding noises only noise I heard was my fuel pump kicking on. All my lights are working normal and so is my radio.
