Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Hyundai Accent and the hood release lever inside won't work.
How do I pop the hood from the outside? I went under the car but can't see

You can pull the cord from inside. Unscrew it an pull on it, its basically a wire like brake wire on a bicycle.

From under the car, reach into the top of the engine compartment. with a long skinny flat blade screwdriver. With the screwdriver parallel to the ground, insert it between the top of the box fans and the metal piece on top(about in the middle of the front of the car, or where the two box fans meet.) Pry anything the tip of the screwdriver touches to toward the drivers side of the hyundai until the hood pops. (You will hit alot of things with the tip of the screw driver so just keep trying until you finally pop the hood.)

Here you can see the tip of the screw driver in the hood release hole.
