Chevy silverado 6.0 vortec

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn the truck it starts right away it is when I
go to put it in gear and I press on the brake the
truck shuts off what could it be? I check the ground
and the positive wires to the battery everything is
good what could it be??

May be a fuel issue. You can check the fuel pressure up on the fuel rail at the Schrader valve with a gauge, fuel pressure should be 56 to 63 lbs. Possible bad fuel pump.

I am putting a super charger on a 6.0 Chevy engine can I cap off the outlet on top of the valve cover
