My Porsche 911S was titled as a 1970, but had a 2.0 litre engine. Did Porsche make any of the 1970's with the 2.0 or was it mis-titled. When I rebuilt it the dealer agreed it was a 2.0 liter

Question type: General

The owners manual as well as the dealer said I had a 200 HP 2.0 liter, but all
current info says the 1970's had 2.2 liter engines. It was a problem getting
parts because the dealer called it the "race engine" . Thoughts please.

Looks like you will always have an issue finding parts, it may be something that you will need to live with...

There are a number of VIN decoders and engine number databases you can check to find the specs Also Porsche of USA can give you a COA with more info
