Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Feeding a lot of gas above 54 mph often smooths out the shake, and
CAN make it run smoothly if you accelerate "just right." Then immediately
shakes when coasting back to 55 mph.
1. Feels like engine is missing at 54+mph
2. Also the right front tire is now very worn out. Outer edge now fraying to
the steel belt.  Need alignment and maybe tie rod?
But engine problem was ongoing before the tire became so obvious.  Or
could the worn tire/bad tie rod actually be the only problem?

HOLY crap...ALL my many many symptoms ALL due to the front right tire!! Replaced tire and all fixed, NO symptoms. I thought I had 2 different problems. 1. Tire and Tie Rod for sure; and 2. A distinct engine problem too. (Needing spark plugs or wires or a sensor to fix the horrible stumble/shuddering at 55 mph and up. (No symptoms from 0-55mph) WOW, all due to one tire...Fooled the hell out of me. I am so glad I fixed the tire issue first before wasting HOURS pulling spark plugs and wires etc. Todd
