to deal with, thats the scrap they build these days, lucky it lasts thru warranty when new .at least you know what to expect, like running through a mine field, well almost anyway

The 2007 Saturn Ion had major issues with Drive System, Fuel System and Suspension according to Consumer Reports. My advice: DON'T buy it! You are RIGHT for feeling nervous about this car AND you NO longer gave Saturn or Pontiac Dealers around to help you (since they went out of business permanently).

I know people who swear by their ions, I also know people who had them, and gave them up for these reasons. I think some cars are fine while others are not. If you are nervous, pass on it and look for something else.

I know more people who are swearing AT their Ions...just sayin' Bottom Line: Saturn was never an outstanding brand, just mediocre when they were NEW. Used ones are bound to be troublesome. Save yourself from the headaches and heartache and get a used Honda, Toyota, or Nissan sedan instead..Avoid the Kia's and Hyundai's like the plague (I know I'll catch from flack for this..oh well). Better to spend a little more upfront than a LOT of $$$ later on down the road for BS little repairs.
