what could it mean when my 74 firebird wont turnover or make noise trying to start

are you getting any power at all I could just be your battery check your terminal see if they're clean or not or maybe one of the spark plug wires is missing removed checking things out and get back to us

The answer may be that the seat belt is not fastened. '74 was the only year for the seat belt interlock system and if it's not buckled, nothing happens.
