2007 Saturn Aura

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hit a truck strap with metal on freeway i  
drove  it  to  first exit car started losing
power then stalled. It  was  smoking  from  
the  rear  come  to  find  out it busted my oil
filter and put a crack in my oil pan i had to
have it towed my content theft deterrent
light is on now i had my friendfixe the filter
and the crack but car wont turn over
justkeeps clicking any thoughts please help

First you should be able to deactivate the theft light by either remote or your key .if aNY key was inserted it would set off the anti theft system .secondly I'd make sure you didn't seize up the engine from losing engine oil . It's quite possible when you shut it off the bearings had already been damaged enough to seize the engine. Have your friend attempt to manually turn the engine over at the crankshaft pulley .if it doesn't spin ,you will need to replace engine .good luck
