ok so today i ran across a 1972 vw beetle that a old man had.. it is all original, even has the original paint down to the cig lighter... he says he is the second owner and had bought it from a friend. the paint is just a little faded but not rough looking at all.. the interior is in perfect condition.. it doesnt even have a single crack on the dash or seats.. the old man has kept it under a carport since he has owned it, and was driving it on weekends and sometimes to work up to about 2 months ago when he got another vehicle. this beetle is in the best shape i have ever seen one in and still be all original.. he even still has every service receipts dating back from when the car was new. i was amazed at the condition of this car. im not sure how many miles are on it but he said its under 50,000.. so what i was wondering is beings that everything on the car is original... what would the value of this car be? lets just say if i put it on ebay. .. also it has a automatic stickshift transmission in it, which i didnt even know they had. i need someone with knowledge on these cars to tell me if 3500 would be a good price to buy it for and how good or bad of a find this really is.

That sounds pretty good to me B. Thats a fair price for being OG! But have seen some go for more 4-6000 just depends on who wants it most!
