transmission defect could it be fixed and how?

i owned a 1972 beetle and i discovered that it had a defect partly on the transmission because few weeks ago i drove it and then on the first gear it starts to wobble. is the transmission have to do with this?

not sure on this i recomend takeing iy to your mechanic for a check.

Could be clutch related, worn out gears in manual trans, etc. A mechanic will need to check this out.
