Hey Gilroy! I couldn't come up with your answer on the web , but here's the url to the web site of a very personable guy regarding restoring Beetles. I'll bet he has the answer for you. There's a message board on the site as well so perhaps you can hook up with another Beetle enthusiast there if need be. Hope this gets you on the right path.
