what is the original tire size for a '67 beetle

5.60x15 bias plys. but a 165sr15 radial is really close.

155SR15 is the tyre size in the Manual. I fitted 165/80/15 and the spare won't fit in the tyre well. I am now going to a spare of 155. Merv

I have 165/80/R15 on mine, including the spare tire. I was able to fit the spare in its slot with no problems.
