I cant get my car out of park... its like its locked up. I tried pushing the little pink tab thats located under the rubber and still wont shift.

Make sure the key is in and turned forward or to the on position. press the brake at the same time as you push the button

Your break release cable spring prob broke you can stick a pen down in front of your shifter there is a wire if u push or pull it to the driver side while break is pushed you should be able to move the gear selector
