Tail light being wierd?

Asked by AmeerZee Feb 07, 2017 at 04:16 PM about the 2007 Dodge Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So when I have the headlights off, the tail lights
stay on and brake lights work. When the head
lights go on, the tail light shuts off and brake light
doesn't work either? I've replaced bulbs, checked
fuses, switched bulb harnesses. Still nothing.
HELP!

I Think You Put The Wrong Bulbs Check The Package Should Be 3157 (not 3156) Or You Changed The Wrong Bulbs

The size for the bulb is 1157. I replaced it with the same exact size. I'm thinking it could be a loose ground but I can't locate the ground
