I have an 88 dodge dakota truck and every morning Ihave a hard time starting it but once it starts is fine the rest of the day it will start right away until next morning when it does it again it does not start because there is no power going to the coil I tested it but after a lot of tries the engine starts

Sounds like your Idle Air Controller might be going bad! They will malfunction only when cold sometimes.
