Anti-Theft?

I don't know the code on the radio so i just pushed a few in and then the car just shut down and wouldn't start any more. What's the deal? And how do I get a code?

try unhooking battery cable eather one leave off a minute and replace,car should crank. this clears all codes in computer.if starts take to dealer and let them set raido codes.
